Hi all — first post here, hoping to tap the community’s creativity on an odd one.
My cat has decided one specific painting on the wall is a scratching target. The painting runs floor to ceiling, so a proximity-type sensor would work well for catching him approaching it. I want it to trigger a deterrent when he gets close or puts his paws on it - something like an old-school telephone ring rather than a generic alarm beep, since that seems to actually get his attention.
Hoping to find Zigbee-compatible sensors and sound activation suggestion welcome.
