I’ve tryied several, but stuck with “invalid URL” (french “URL invalide”)
What address should I provide ?
The ME server will be hosted on the same RPi as HA

Are you trying to install the addon or the integration.

Hi,

The integration …
Previously, I ran the addon but I understood it was deprecated.

thks for your interest

So are you running motioneye other than as the addon? You still need to run a motioneye server. It is in the first sentence here motionEye - Home Assistant

And I don’t know where you got the idea it was deprecated. You may well be right, but if you have some source of that knowledge, do tell.

OK
My mistake … thank you

@nickrout i was wondering if you could help me. I have the Motioneye add-on running on HA and my cameras are working. I noticed that without the Motioneye integration the camera that are connected to the Motioneye add-on dont show up as entities. now i tried to install the Motioneye integration but i am being asked for a URL. i know that its asking for the URL the motioneye server is running on but i dont know what it is and i dont know where to find it. I checked the Motioneye add-on config and log and cant find a link.

I have not had motioneye running for a while, I switched to frigate.

I’ll take a look and try to remember

http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8765 where xx.xx.xx.xx is the ip of the add-on (or HA box)

For people wondering about this running on
HA Core2024.6.1 and Supervisor2024.06.0
motioneye: Current version: 0.20.0

Had no luck with 8765, but after saving motioneye config I found this:

the TCP port to listen on

port 28765

So then by setting motioneye integration to point to
http://localhost:28765
things fell into place in my system at least.

Hi, am struggling with this. Port 8765, 8080 and 28765 are not working. And I’m not sure what “but after saving motioneye config I found this” means. How did you find it by saving it?

Any help would be appreciated.
