Move / specify location of config dir?

I just installed Home Assistant on my “server” running lubuntu 16.06.
I don’t want the config dir in /home/myuser/.homeassistant
I want to place it on another drive istead of my system drive.
Is this possible?
I searched the forum and docs but didn’t fint anything helpful.

Depending how you start HA, you have to edit your startscript/service.

Thank you. I missed that.
The recommended startup in the guide is

$ sudo -u homeassistant -H /srv/homeassistant/bin/hass

When it is installed in an virtual environment
Now i want to use a dir in my homeassistant dir named “config”.
Do i still need the -H /srv/homeassistant/bin/hass ?
Can i do $ sudo -u homeassistant -c /path/to/my/folder ?

Or maybe $ sudo -u homeassistant -c /path/to/my/folder /srv/homeassistant/bin/hass ?

The link shows the arguments for hass, so you have to append it to it.
$ sudo -u homeassistant -H /srv/homeassistant/bin/hass -c /path/to/my/folder

Thank you. It is working. Created the config files is the right place.
Is the -H really necessary? It isn’t mentioned in the link you posted.

The ‘-u’ and ‘-H’ are arguments for sudo.

Of course.
But i don’t have my config in the my homeassistant users homedir so i guess i can skip it?
