Moving over from hubitat help

I am currently on hubitat but before I go through the effort of moving all of my devices, I’d like to use their maker api to send device updates to home assistant and use home assistant to run the automation. Has anyone done this?

This is what I am doing. I just set this up for the first time this week.

I am also moving directly over to HA , but I am keeping my hubitat to act as my zwave bridge.

I pair my zwave devices to it , then they are managed fully with in home assistant.

Yes, it works well. Most of my devices are on HA, but those that are not compatible stay on Habitat.
