MQTT Integration. Where's the YAML?

Sorry if these is a stupid question, but…

I’ve added the MQTT Integration and started manually adding devices using the integration dialogs. Then I needed to change a sub topic for one of the entities and all of the instructions say to edit the configuration.yaml file for MQTT. There is nothing in my configuration.yaml file related to MQTT.

Where does the MQTT integration store its config data?

Like most components configured through the UI, there is not YAML config to edit, you make edits in the UI.

Hmm. OK, but I can’t see anyway to change a sub topic unless I delete the entity and re-add it. The same goes for Unit of Measurement. I had a typo and can’t correct it.

Conclusion: You can’t change state topic from the UI.
