Hi folks, Still a bit of a newbie to Home Assistant and MQTT, but I had a number of sensors defined that were working OK up until I had to reboot the Pi that was feeding them in. After the reboot of the Pi, all those sensors are stuck at “Unknown” despite the MQTT topic being published OK and I can see the data in MQTT Explorer, and the python script on the Pi that generates the data says it’s connected OK and is publishing. I am using Mosquito broker, RTL_433, RTL_433 Auto Discovery. Everything looks like it is talking correctly, so I cannot pinpoint where my issue is. See screenshots:

Any help is welcome. I have default settings on everything. I am using ID/Pass on Broker,RTL, and Auto Discovery. I altered the event topic to rtl_433 everywhere, because Auto Discovery would not read anything as rtl_433/+/events. Maybe that is a sign of where my problem is?

Also this is my first time trying these addons, so it could easily be a newbie error.

It looks like a combination of copying the exact topics in the Auto Discovery (not next) readme, adding “output si” in the rtl_433 config, and rebooting got them to show. Hope this helps someone in the future!
