Eaton makes a 3\4-way dimmer switch with wifi support (exclusively for Amazon Alexa). I opened it up and it has a MT-52 module inside it. Does anyone know of a 3rd party firmware similar to Tasmota that I can flash on to it? I received it as a gift, with no option to return it for a refund. Would like to make some use out of it, short of scratching off the wifi antenna and using it exclusively as a dumb dimmer switch.
Is there a picture of the module?
If it’s got the same form factor like ESP12, you could do an esp swap
I may be able to continue this thread here. I have also a MT-52 module inside my dimmer switch (with only Alexa Support)
But the situation may be more complex as there’s an STM32G070CBT6 ARM microcontroller in there (in the pic bottom left).
I have the EATON WFD30 Wi-Fi Smart Dimmer Switch to be specific.
The continue, it seems that this module is the one specifically containing the Alexa Connect Kit firmware:

@brandonnolet Don’t ask me who I missed your reply last year, lol. Did you ever figure it out?
Unfortunately I did not. I ripped the thing out of my wall and went with TP-Link KASA instead
