Multiple Counter Entities in Home Assistant

Hi there, very simple question. Have any of you successfully defined more than one counter? I’ve just realized a need for more than one counter - and no matter how I try to define a second counter, after restart, they never take. Any tips?

The first counter has always worked—> but adding a second never does. What am I missing?

counter:
  fluffycounter:
    name: Fluffy Feeding Counter
    initial: 0
    step: 1

counter 2:
  motioncounter:
    name: Motion Counter
    initial: 0
    step: 1

I think you only need to state counter: once. Remove counter 2: line.

counter:
  fluffycounter:
    name: Fluffy Feeding Counter
    initial: 0
    step: 1

  motioncounter:
    name: Motion Counter
    initial: 0
    step: 1
