Hi there, pretty new to HA, trying to create some lighting groups in my kitchen. I have 9 downlights, and a couple of slighting strips. I have a group called ‘Kitchen Lights’ which is ALL the lights. I also want a group that is just 3 of the downlights so I can turn this on to light up just the fridge area, I called this ‘Fridge Lights’. I do this, but when I turn the Kitchen Lights off, it also turns the Fridge Lights, and when I turn the Fridge Lights on, it also turns the Kitchen Lights toggle to on, but only the 3 lights turn on… any help appreciated. I assume (hope) it is something simple and I am just too new to realise!
This is expected behaviour since your fridge lights exist in both groups.
If you don’t want the Kitchen Lights to switch on/off the Fridge lights, then you need to remove the 3 fridge lights from your Kitchen lights group.
