Multiple Nortek HUSBZB-1

I have a shed that is separate from my house (over 100 feet). The shed is connected to my house Ethernet network by a underground Ethernet cable. In my house I have a Raspberry Pi with a Nortek HUSBZB-1 acting as the coordinator and Home Assistant Server.
I’m considering putting a second Raspberry Pi in my shed and plugging into it a Nortek HUSBZB-1 thinking all the Zigbee Devices in the Shed would be routed thru the Raspberry Pi and back to the server.
Does anyone know if this will work?

Simply said : no

1/ A Zigbee network can only use 1 coordinator
2/ Zigbee packets can’t be routed over Ethernet.

So, if you are using Zigbee2MQTT, install a second Zigbee2MQTT on the Pi in your shed, using the same MQTT broker.
If you are using ZHA, you can only use 1 coordinator, so use Zigbee2MQTT in your shed.

For Z-Wave, the same. Use a second Z-Wave JS instance in your shed.

And if you did not buy the second HUSBZB-1 yet, try to buy a dongle with less ancient hardware.

I would buy an ethernet based coordinator like UZG-01, SLZB-06 or similar and set up a second zigbee network in the shed. You can run multiple Z2M instances on one HAOS, or do a mix of ZHA and Z2M.
