Multiple presence sensors combined in a room - how?

I’m trying to figure out how to setup automation of lights, depending on 3 difference sensors in my living room.

I have 2 parts of the room (dining table and sofa/TV) and I have setup the following sensors:

  1. Hue Motion sensor at the door to start light when someone walks into the room

  2. Sonoff presence sensor at the dining table

  3. Sonoff presence sensor at the sofa/tv area

I can easily setup each of them with separate workflows, but how do I combine these 3 into one “is there anyone in the room?” and if so “turn on lights” ?

I would like to be able to set the room status to “active” (someone is there) and “passive” (no-one is there).

Have you consider grouping the sensors in Helpers so that any one sensor event will act as one across all sensors in that area?

No, I’m fairly new to Home Assistant (migrating from Homey Pro this week) so I wasn’t aware of “helpers” ! I’ll have a look - thanks !!!

Go to Settings/ Devices & Services/ Helpers

Select Create Helper, then Group, then Sensor Group

Happy to assist! I use this method in multiple rooms to cover motion sensor blind spots.
