Multiple reports of SwitchBot Bluetooth integration failure

After either the 2026.5 or the 2026.5.1 release, multiple people reported that their SwitchBot Bluetooth integration has completely failed. This post attempts to compile those reports into one place to hopefully get some attention and resolve the issue.

• Report that many integrations failed in the 2026.5 release.
• This overview of the 2026.5 beta notes that the SwitchBot inegreation has been updated, but without an explanation of what changed.

Well there appears to be an official issue. 4 of those links are from that issue. This is where the Dev(s) will be looking at info and input for the problem.

Not sure what this post is going to do, as any progress and/or change will happen there.

Perhaps making sure any community links with further info are posted in that issue could help things.

Commenting here that the 2026.5.2 update seems to have resolved the issue for me.
