I am struggling to make this work. I am still unsure how things should be configured. I was wondering if anyone has the same setup working properly that would chime in on my issue.
Basically, everything is working fine except resuming music after playing announcements using Chime TTS.
I have 3 Sonos speakers, 2x Play3 and 1x Play 5.
Right now, I have the Sonos integration installed and also Sonos S1 as the player provider in Music Assistant. I want to make sure all speakers play in sync. It looks like the Sonos integration needs to be installed to create a sync group instead of a universal group of speakers. That’s the group announcements are played to and the same group that plays music using Spotify as the music provider most of the time.
It is hit or miss (mostly miss) after an announcement is played. Sometimes, maybe after HA restart or after making some changes, it might work once or twice and then I am back to music being stopped using it after the announcement.
Also, the volume sometimes gets messed up after an announcement on some speakers.
Ughh…
Any tips? Suggestions?
