Music Assistant workaround for lack of trigger?

I have an old hifi system that I have to turn on with a smart plug. I'd like to set up an automation that automatically turns on that smart plug when someone starts playing music on Music Assistant. However, it seems that Music Assistant doesn't exposes any triggers. Is this correct? If so, does anyone have any ideas for working around this?

If music assistant integration is setup you should be able to see the status of the media player. Playing, idle, paused and such. Thats the trigger you may use

The media player entity should go to "playing"

Thanks. I was wrong to look for a trigger under Music Assistant. Should have searched for “Playing”. Then, under Media Player started Playing one can choose Music Assistant as the target.
