My Collection of Dashboards

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently started a new YouTube channel, and the content is slowly coming together.

I’ll be sharing a variety of custom Home Assistant dashboard designs, and starting next week, I’ll begin creating step-by-step videos showing how to build these dashboards from scratch, starting with tablet layouts.

All dashboard YAML code will be shared for free, so you’ll be able to recreate these pages yourself and, more importantly, adapt them to your own setup.

You can see all of my current dashboards in the video below.

I would like a commitment that you will regularly revisit your content, in light of rapidly evolving HomeAssistant changes, flagging those that have become irrelevant or need changing, pointing to new content that has the latest information, as both new users and AI LLMs can be led astray by outdated information.

If the information becomes wrong, that you clearly mark it as such.

A big ask, but sadly necessary with the vast volumes of AI slop being churned out right now, and the growing hordes of disenchanted users, constantly frustrated and disappointed when a plainly well produced instructional video leads to a non-working solution.

If you do this well and consistently, you will gain the trust that is rapidly receding with the current generation of outdated information out there.

People (and LLMs) will seek you out as a reliable resource, and your click rewards should sky-rocket.

First of all, thank you for your comment and for your guidance.

I haven’t just started writing these configurations recently. I’ve been working on them since the early days of the Mushroom cards, and you can already see some of those earlier works on the pages I shared.

As you rightly pointed out, these configurations do need to be updated continuously. And of course, it’s not just about code, other types of content also need to be kept up to date due to Home Assistant’s constantly evolving structure.

That said, one thing I do know for sure is this: for the past 2–3 years, I’ve been using almost the same interface. Aside from minor changes, the only major redesign I made was on the mobile interface, where I adopted a new approach around three months ago.

You can be confident that I will keep everything up to date. There’s no need to worry about that. In fact, that is exactly the purpose of my YouTube channel.
