PLEASE HELP ME! I recently bought an Aqara G5 Pro and an Aqara E1 Hub, and shortly after setting up both, I had many of my devices across my smart home ecosystems change networks. The internet and my gateway are working fine. I was NOT hacked. The network switched from our primary smart home network to our second barely used network, but none of the devices or apps had the login credentials or were ever connected to the second network. Most devices still show in the app as connected to the primary network but are unreachable. I setup HA in the last couple of weeks, things were fine, and then I set up the Aqara E1 hub as a wifi repeater/hotspot and set up the Aqara G5 Pro, then suddenly multiple devices switched to our second network which is completely separate from this one and doesn’t share any of the same devices, names, or passwords. Has anyone ever had this happen before? It started with these devices and spread to other ones, eventually getting to devices by other brands. I spoke to my internet provider and Apple (cause HomeKit is my main interface ecosystem, although my HA and Google were affected way more), and there is nothing wrong with either my router/modem or HomeKit. Please let me know if this ever happened to you or if anyone can shed some light on my current situation. I am so confused how this happened. The ONLY thing that has changed at all is adding these two devices, everything was working normally prior. I think it may be HA-related because the other ecosystems aren’t connected to my printer and HK isn’t as badly affected. PLEASE HELP! Thank you!
I bet they are not separate, but connected on a network level, so DHCP servers share the physical network.
