If you are creating an new App for the community and want to give your users an easy button to install it from the Forum, GitHub, Discord, wherever, here is how to use the MY tools provided by Home Assistant to do that. This eliminates the scary (to some) geek code and uses the built-in Home Assistant My stuff to get your users where you want them to go.
First open the Create-a-link My builder tool.
Pull down the Create a Link dropdown
Select App dashboard
Add in your software’s App name and Repository URL where your software is. It will then provide ez-button links pointed to your install. Be sure to test and install everything fully so that your users will have a nice experience!
