My Scheduler – iPhone-style timer & scheduler add-on for any device (no YAML, no helpers)

Hi everyone! :waving_hand:

I’d like to share My Scheduler, a Home Assistant app I made, in case anyone finds it useful. It lets you schedule devices from a simple, phone-friendly UI in the sidebar. You don’t need YAML or helpers, and schedules keep running even with no dashboard open.

Add repository

GitHub: My Scheduler
Requires Home Assistant OS or Supervised (apps are not available on Container/Core).

Getting started

  1. Install the app, start it and open My Scheduler from the sidebar.
  2. As the admin, go to Settings → Devices, add the devices you want to schedule and give them friendly names so family members can find them easily. Only devices added here can be used on the Home page.
  3. On the Home page, tap +, pick a device and set a time or an on → off range.

Main features

  • Time or on → off time range, sunrise/sunset, repeat days, conditions
  • Auto-off: turns a device off after it has been on for N minutes, however it was turned on (great for watering)
  • Groups with an on/off switch and a “Skip today” button (e.g. when it rains)
  • Compact, list or 24h chart view, chosen separately by each user

Note: the app is meant for simple timers. It avoids complex, nested conditions on purpose. For more advanced logic, create a script in Home Assistant and schedule that script with the app.

Help

The app is still new, so there may be bugs. Feel free to open an issue if something is not working as expected, and I’ll do my best to help when I can.

There are no Add-ons…
Referring to that name is confusing to new users that have never heard of it and are looking for Apps.
The My link for install has it correct, but use of the term on new software is definitely confusing to some & annoying to many.

Thanks for pointing that out! I’ve updated the wording to app.
