MyEnergi - Zappi / Eddi / Harvi

It’s a bit off topic but since many users will be interested in it (including myself), it’s good to refer to the project.

The current GitHub page is still very limited. It doesn’t show what can be controlled and how the hardware addition should be installed. Do I understand correctly it is soldered on somewhere?
If the documentation is clear, I’ll link to it in the top post.

Yes agree. I just dumped what I did into the GitHub. There is work in making the board, but I picked components that are suitable for hand soldering. Once the board is made and programmed, it slips onto the zappi pins. No soldering required. The pins just need to be extended, which is easy to do. Let me work on the documentation in the next while.

Is this repo still up or private? As I dont see anything except a 404 on the linked repo?

Hi. I am updating the code and board to make it more robust. In about a week or so I’ll put it back up

This is what I see too… Let me know if you find it, I’d much prefer some sort of local control.

@V4n1X @Nevvyn I have updated a lot, rewrite all of the code and remake of the board to make its simpler. It’s designed for hand soldering. Let me know if you need more information easy to miss information.

So, when will you do a Kickstarter for these boards?

Tempting but I just needed to solve my own issues with loosing control of my Zappi if the internet drops and the position MyEnergi have taken on local control. Sharing it so others can copy it and make it better  .

Woow thats amazing work, +1 for the kickstarter prebuilt board solution.

I am sure there are better people than me to do that. It’s not as difficult as you would think to create the board. Should I post this somewhere else?

I’m perfectly fine with discussing the local controller in this topic. It’s an awesome project.

I hope I can figure out a way to let the PCB + assembly of the required parts be produced from JLCPCB or PCBWAY, so I can just order the final product there, without any soldering and ordering all the single parts.

I would support that objective. Gives options .

I did a check of the main components, ESP, ADP3338, TCMT4100 & HLE-110-02-L-DV-BE-K-TR, they can all be gotten in JLC. HLE-110-02-L-DV-BE-K-TR is the most difficult, as you need to pre-order them.

Hi all,
Is anyone’s having a issue with this integration with 2026.1 it fails to load

I had a few days break in the data collection, but since yeasterday it works fina again.

Yes, indeed version myenergi 0.0.29 doesn’t work any more with Home Assistant 2026.01.
To fix this upgrade to myenergi 0.0.30:

  • Search for myenergi in HACS
  • Re-download it.
  • Restart Home Assistant.

I’ve removed it and reinstalled and it’s working again

Thank you

I would expect 0.0.30 is offered as an update by hacs (as long as the update entity is not disabled.
Redownloading via hacs should also work to update without the need to remove the previous version.

Any luck getting a PCB? I did some code updates to allow the device to schedule a charge and time sync with HA or the internet.

Didnt had the time yet, so no updates.
