Myggbett Door / Window Sensor

Hey all,

Does anyone have any experience with the Myggbett Door / Window sensor from Ikea.
I bought like 8 of them, at this moment testing one with a simple automation of turning on and turning off the light.
I have a ikea boarder router and a lot of their new matter lamps.

The sensor always sends the correct status to the Ikea app however with HA it works a little while like 20 to 30 minutes then it stops functioning.

If I trigger the ping function in HA I get a positive result however the status is still not showing correctly (door open or closed) and thus the automation is not working.

I dont understand why it works in the Ikea app and not in HA.

I’ve tried to remove the sensor from the Ikea app factory default and directly get it configured from HA but the same result.

Can anymore explain why this is happening and if someone with the same issue has been able to fix this and if yes then how?

I have 2 of them integrated directly in HA via the OTBR addon (the docker version, but whatever)

Works fine for me.

Maybe an issue with the Dirigera (I guess that’s what you have) integration?
IIRC, it is seen as a matter device, right?

I dont have the OTBR addon installed.
I have the Dirigera as a boarder router, matter server is installed in HA.

As far as i know its seen as a matter device. Also the connection to the closest device wich is a bulb from ikea also is -20dbm should be fine.

Also when removing the battery and rebooting the sensor it works but only for a short period of time

Just a FYI. I recently bought four MYGGBETTs, and got them working via HA Green, ZBT-2, Thread, etc.

One of the four has a much weaker magnet in the thin part than the others. If you find one not very sensitive, try using a known good magnet to check its response.

I’m piggybacking a strong rare earth magnet on that one. As such it has similar range as the other three.

Same setup with HA/matterjs containers, I lose only the activity of MYGGBETT, but in ikea app is working normally.
