Mystery Ramp Rates in Insteon Switches

Home Assistant v 2026.4.2.
I’ve had Insteon working in Home Assistant for 5? years? It’s been there a while, and been steady. The majority of switches in my home are Insteon from long before Home Assistant.
In the past few weeks, a ramp rate mystery has been occurring. I don’t use the native ramp rate in Insteon, everything is set to the default of 0.2 seconds. In Insteon properties for a switch, I have 2 values: ramp_rate_in_seconds and ramp_rate (advanced settings). ramp_rate_in_seconds is correct at about 0.2 - 0.5 depending on the device. However, ramp_rate is showing up at 30 seconds, and when Home Assistant triggers the on/off, light is taking this long to ramp. Physical press of switch uses shorter timer.
The one thing I can think of that is tangentially a possibility is I was playing with Adaptive Lighting integration a few weeks ago. I decided it wasn’t for me and I removed the integration.
Every Insteon switch has this same setting/behavior.
Changing ramp_rate_in_seconds from insteon settings for a device sets ‘modified’ flag for both settings to Yes. Writing settings for that single device seems to be the fix for all devices with just that one write, but ramp_rate is still set to 30 seconds, even though behavior of fast ramp is restored.
Has anyone noticed any similar behavior?
