myVAILLANT integration

It is not possible to setup a private API for individuals :

In my installation, the connection drops to the Vaillant cloud started yesterday with version 0.9.3. Due to the disruptions, I updated to 0.9.5 this afternoon. The problems persist with both versions.

The first time I ran into the quota exceeded issue it took almost a week before the integration worked reliably again. I’ve started with very high intervals (1 hour) and slowly shortened them. I’m still on 0.9.3 and will see how 0.9.5 fares.

And it has failed again.

From what i can see in my data, the on/off behaviour seems to start at the moment I got my energy sensors of the heater that started working again. Can it be that this is causing an extra data demand and causing the quota problem?

It’s now fail for me I had updated my polling interval to 900 but it has fail in the last hour

0.9.6 is out to try to fix this. I have just upgraded to it, and it seems to be working now, but it is yet early to tell.

Upgraded to 0.9.6 but after 10 minutes:
Error fetching myVAILLANT data: Quota Exceeded, response was: { “statusCode”: 403, “message”: “Out of call volume quota. Quota will be replenished in 00:21:58.” } on https://api.vaillant-group.com/service-connected-control/end-user-app-api/v1/systems/85eb52d3-1702-4191-af85-3c081703bc88/meta-info/connection-status, skipping update of myVAILLANT SystemCoordinator for another 1317s

Maybe some day this will be the solution?
@pdd does this help to get rid of the timeout problems? Maybe you ask via the contact form that you developed the home assistant solution and it can be implemented via the eu data act… or do you have any information?

I just installed 0.96 and it seems to work again for the moment. Fingers crossed.

Big shoutout to the dev, thanks for working so relentlessly on the integration.

Same here working after 0.96 but I have left my Seconds between updates at 900, which works well enough for me.

Also Big shoutout to the dev

for me its also working with the new 0.9.6. version and update intervall 900. Thats ok for me at this time.

@SebastianM The eudataact seems the way to go, as the terms of service allow continued access to the api (pull api) this should solve the quota errors.

I filled out the formular (the terms are ok mostly), and we will see, whats the outcome. I also mentioned that they should consider a local api.

Hello, same for me 900sec and version 0.9.6, so far so good.
Many thanks for the new version.

Please keep us updated if this works

Does anyone have the sight for UK as I see that is EU only (thanks brexit :frowning: ) ?

0.9.6 is still working for me, even with the interval set back to 60.

I’ve set all my update intervals to 300s on 0.9.6 and it seems to work nicely, I’m getting minimal drop outs now.

I noticed the Vaillant app and MyVaillant integration only updated sensors every ≈ 5 minutes usually anyway no matter what the update setting was set to so no real loss to me on the update intervals.

And a massive thanks to @pdd for a great integration and support, it makes tracking heat pump stats a dream compared to Vaillant’s quite poor app.

Thanks Philipp and all others contributing. The patches were flying out like lightning. I was not expecting such a rapid response. So, thank you.

0.9.8 with 900s interval is working for me now. I’m a bit too scared to adjust my interval down at the moment but will later.
What have others had successful for their interval?

I’m running 0.9.8 with main 600s interval and 3600s interval for energy data since a few hours without dropouts. Thanks to dev for instant support.

My ‘state’ for my boiler is stuck in ‘standby’ since the recent updates. Anyone else?

I tried 450s and gives me out of quota…
