Nabu casa server location

Hi, I am using homeassistant from Turkey and using nabu casa for remote connection.
The speed was very slow so I checked the ip of my remote address and it seems like the server providing the connection is in Australia.

Is this intended? Can I get service from a server in Europe?
Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the community!

My guess is that is more of a product support question. There should be a “Submit a Ticket” on the upper right corner of this link:

https://support.nabucasa.com/

Submit a ticket and be as specific as you can in the ticket about your location, ISP, internet info on the ticket so they can help figure it out

hi friend,
I submitted a ticket and after getting no response opened a topic in the discord and after not getting a response there opened a topic here.
thank you for the suggestion

Have you checked if the main Nabu Casa server is up on their status page?
Maybe they are using a CDN for load balancing or fallback purposes? After all, DigitalOcean is a cloud provider. Your European link may be down for maintenance and the transparent rollover has gone to warmer climes. They do have some big data centres down there in Sydney, and last time I checked the only thing they were at war with was wildfires, kangaroos and mosquitos.
Is your ISP using ‘creative’ routing paths?
What does a trace show? Are you going around the world? Maybe the Black Sea connection to Europe may have been interrupted by the war, and like airline flight paths, alternate routes found?
Using a VPN? A double VPN?

I received a response to my ticket notifying me that there is indeed a problem within the infrastructre about routing and they are working on a fix.
Thanks to everyone involved.
