NameCheap SSL Cert Upload?

I have a Comodo Positive SSL cert this morning and it’s asking me to upload the txt file. Having a Duckdns address, I don’t know what to do to get this file accessable to them to verify. Could anyone assist?

Hi, I have the same problem, here… Did you find a way to do it ?

Not yet. I still have my SSL and not using it. Now that I’m using docker and Hass, maybe I can get it to work

Okay, thanks. If I ever find a solution, I will post here.

Can you explain what steps did you take so far and when you got stuck?
I installed one month ago new certificate from NamecheapDNS / Comodo and it works for me but I needed the work a lot to make it work…

I generated the requested files with OpenSSL, then I created a DCV by giving the CSR code to NameCheap and I am to the point where I need to activate the certificate, with one of the three methods: e-mail, HTTP, or DNS.

I done it over HTTP, download the file and placed in under www folder of the hass config

Did you replicate the url, like “config/www/.well-known/pki-validation/file.txt” or did you just put the file in ‘www’ ?

full path (with well known)

I already tried that and I’m stuck… What was the next step for you ?

can you access that URL from outside your network?
