Is anyone else having problems with adding the 2nd guest account? I keep getting âQR code invalidâ or âUser does not existâ when trying to add the 2nd account in the app.
I tried with a 2nd phone and even tried swapping the accounts that were logged in on each phone, no dice. (Both phones are Android if that matters)
For anyone else having this issue, itâs the phone number at the login screen that has to be the correct country when creating the account, afterwards it doesnât matter. Also it doesnât indicate anywhere after the account is created which country was selected. So you might have to delete the accounts and recreate them if you didnât select the correct country.

Iâve now had this M1 Litter Tray for a couple of days, and it seems to work well just using the phone app.
Iâve installed the integration into HA and get all the required data showing as it should, so it is working using my primary email address - great work guys!! You lot never cease to amaze me! The recognised issue of being kicked out of the phone app when the HA integration is running is also showing up too.
As noted on the Github page for the integration, I set up a second account using the phone app and my secondary email address and went through the full M1 device setup procedure, and all was OK. Logged back into the Neakasa phone app using the first account, and my primary email and then shared that account with the second account (the one using my secondary email) - the phone app seemed to accept it.
Now, when I log into the Neakasa M1 integration in HA using the second account I setup (secondary email address) HA says that the device cannot be found (see attached image)
Iâm sure I must have done something wrong somewhere in this process.
Can anybody offer any suggestions??

Sorry, if this is very basic. I canât seem to get through this step. Each attempt ends in failure to authenticate. Both my wife and I signed up via google. In the account menu, we both added passwords. Every time we try to connect the integration I get an authentication error.
Iâm not sure what our regions are. We both are US people living in Japan. I canât remember what the setup was like.
Our kitty has a bladder stone and I realized the app data doesnât go back very far, so weâre trying to store and analyze it in HA. If I could get some help, that would be amazing.

It looks like those GitHub links don't work anymore. Are the integrations hosted somewhere else now?
I haven't seen any kind of announcement or warning the repo was going away or being moved. Looks like @timniklas removed their entire GitHub account (or hopefully just renamed it). The integration seems to work for now.

I'm glad to see the board and electronic are coated against moisture. ( as I had to hose the base as well, I'll spare you the details of what my poor cat did but it was smelly ! )
But there was no water inside at all ( I avoided spraying the buttons of course )
As expected ESP32
Specifically an ESP32-WROOM-32N
And a daughter board for the weight sensor / IR sensor
Interestingly there is a micro usb port next to the barrel jack. But no idea if it's wired for communication or just 5v power, I didn't test further.
But this is beyond my knowledge to reprogram the thing as is, but with lots of motivation, internals could be swapped with another esp32 and run esphome. There is so much space in there.

If @timniklas is not continuing with the extension, I'm happy to maintain it.

If anyone is having issues logging in (whether it be with the primary or a secondary account), make sure that account is logged out at all other places. Each account is only able to be logged into one place, and it appears this integration is not able to log out of active sessions on other devices.
