Need help with energy monitor

Hi,

I bought a Tuya Energy Monitor CT. Clamped it on my main circuit and did all the necessary setup in Tuya app and the Tuya integration in Home Assistant.

It created sensors for power (kw), current (A) and voltage (V). To be able to add this to my energy dashboard, I created a template helper sensor

I was then able to add this now on my energy dashboard but it seems that the value it returned has become way too high now after a few days only already reaching more than 1000+ kWh. While on the tuya app (which also has a kWh value but does not integrate to home assistant sadly) has only accummulated to 56 kWh.

Would anyone know why this is happening?

Power (kW) and Energy (kWh) are different. If the device doesn’t report a kWh sensor, you’ll have to use an integral helper (using left sum) with the power sensor to ‘convert’ it.
