Need Help with Nest 3rd Gen Integration

I have been trying to integrate the Nest 3rd Gen to HA since yesterday, but have not got it done yet.

I have followed the online instruction on HA and other few tips and topics on line regarding the issues.

I am stuck on the step ‘Link account to Home Assistant?’, when I click link account, it shows:

“Google Nest
Unknown error talking to Cloud Pub/Sub, see logs”

Here is the log from HA system.

Error listing eligible Pub/Sub topics: Error while listing existing cloud console topics

The nest and project were all in the same google account, the 5 USD has been paid. Any input on this will be appreciated.

Thanks for the post.

I saw it before posting this and I followed that post and the problem is still there.

Any further thoughts?

I have re do it from first step several times, but the results are same.

Sorry, I do have a Nest gen3 but I’ve not any issues with it.

I found another thread that might help.

I have tried google a solution and check all the previous posts with similar issue, but yet have not found a solution.

Problem solved. It was my rookie mistake. I entered the name of the project instead of the project ID.
