Need some advice regarding "what do i need ..."

Hi,
I’m new to HA and plan to get startet for some home automation topic including:

  • local dashboard for my Q-Cells inverter
  • control the wallbox for my EV (not yet decided for a model)
  • place some temperature/humidity sensors around in the house and maybe control some fans based on the climate values
  • later on some air conditioning or heat pump migth be added

As far as I understood from readings, Matter over Thread migth be the correct choice for the sensors.
The Q-Cells inverter should work by Modbus/TCP, does it?
The wallbox … I guess there will be models available using Modbus/TCP …

Now the question:
Is the combination of HA-Green + Connect ZBT-2 suitable to cover this?
Do I need more hardware?

Please rethink buying a green. I’m not a fan of Matter/Thread at this time (I prefer Zigbee still) but a coordinator like one of the SLZB ones is more flexible as it can be connected through the network too so it doesn’t have to be placed at the same location as the HA system or directly connected to it. There’s also dual antenna ones for Matter and Zigbee at the same time.
