Every time I update, I need to remove home-assistant_v2.db, otherwise the update will not work. It had happened since the 0.105 update. Is it something I’ve missed?
Are you running out of space, or is your database breaking.
I don’t know, but I have a 32Gb SD
Well why are you removing it? You must be doing it for a reason.
i need to remove v2.db, to update, to newer version otherwise HA will not start again.
I want to update HA but after the update HA does not start in the browser, so I have tried removing v2.db, and on / off pi, and starting with the new version HA. Its normal to do this?
No it is not normal.
Do you have any suggestions for that?
Find out what is corrupting your database!
Do you ever pull the power on your machine, or otherwise shut down ungracefully? That would be the leading contender.
A good start would be a log of starting home assistant after an upgrade.
Should check out the log next update.
what should i look for in /confic/home-assistant.log, is there anything special that i should check?
Thanks.
