Question for you here – I see one of your options in HVAC mode is fan only. I don’t have this option at all however:
Well, I did had a fan only HVAC mode… But this option disappeared from home assistant after I posted about it above. I think that the option might have gotten removed with an update, but I’m not positive.
I would really like to have this feature work but I cant figure out how to make it happen.
From the google home app I see the option to run the fan for a given amount of time, but I cannot get it to work from home assistant.
If anyone is able to get the fan running without heating or cooling please let me know.
Damn – well I’ll let you know if something comes up. Definitely no fan option for me currently.
Yep, if I could go back and spend the money on something else I probably would. This thermostat looks good and works well from Google home but the functions from home assistant are limited.
I don’t think Google exposes the fan via Matter. Pretty awful.
Hopefully they update the product to matter 1.4 soon.
Is there any way to see hvac_action attribute for this thermostat. I have 2 of these installed and linked to my HA, Hubitat and Homekit. I would like to create a reminder to change HVAC filter based on run time but seems like there is no way to record run-time from these thermostats.
