Earlier this week I had wifi issues and needed to create a new wifi network. For a mysterious reason it implied that I also needed to re-add my 2 Nest thermostats to my Gmail account.
In HA the Nest thermostats no longer showed and I deleted the integration.
I have tried multiple times to re-add the integration by following these steps as shown in attached pictures .
Every time, after selecting my gmail account I get the error message “Something went wrong”.
My suspicion is that something was left of the previous Nest Integration, but I am not knowledgeable enough to know to find that, if it is the issue.
I may also be confused on what to enter for Google Cloud Projetc ID:
Unfortunately, I am not technical enough to understand what you wrote.
I have followed the steps ovr and over again, but everytime, at the very end of the process, it asks me to select my gmail account, it gives an error message.

I still have a suspicion that some element remained in HA from previous Nest integration, but have not found anything.
I would love for someone to remotely enter my HA and try to assist me.
Anytime I have re added things to HA it seems to just shove any non working version or other stuff to the side,
Why do you suspect HA?
Basically anything connected or in HA will be shown in developer tools and states.
Id also believe an issue with the network as Nick puts it
and that would require network login.
I say reset the nest because more than likely its looking for the old network.
What do you mean you reset your network too?
Is it connecting to whatever its original app is or anything like that? or specifically just not HA?
Thanks so much.
I’ll reset the thermostats tomorrow and see if that changes anything, but the Nest App works fine and also the browser connection to the Nest thermostats works fine.
