I really love the NetAlertX addon, under Settings/Publishers - it does let you enter the details for publishing events - however I have numerous events being emailed to me every minute. Is there a way to filter this to, for example sending emails only for events that are related to an unknown or unnamed entity connecting to the network?
Hi @KruseLuds - I recommend going thru the docs on notifications:
You can even write your own SQL to filter exactly which devices get pushed thru MQTT: See the MQTT_DEVICES_SQL setting for details. You could e.g. sync over only new devices.
Also to get quicker answers I recommend opening an issue on the NAX repo, a discussion or posting the question on the Discord server. I only sporadically check this forum.
Sorry for the NOOB questrions, it’s just frustrating… I entered a question on the repo, also it is nowhere to be found on discord and there is no link to the related discord server on this forum or on the repo, so… when I go into the discord app on my cell phone to serch for it it only allows me to find it by entering a url or accepting an invitation, and not sure how to get either, so…
The only obvious simple way is to just put in a gazillion IP addresses to filter out everything known. It would be so much simplet to just email about devices that are unkown. What a hassle!
