New And CAN'T add Alexa devices

I’m Not sure if I am in the right place to answer this question. I am trying to migrate my home automation to a new Home Assistant Green. I was able to install and access it as well as use the the few nabucasa devices I have.

I am trying to add my Amazon devices and just can’t get them in.

When I go to Settings-devices-and click add integrations and scroll down to Amazon and click on ALEXA DEVICES I get a pop-up. It is asking for a username, password, and OTP.

I assume they are looking for my alexa credentials. I enter the username and password but and then go to my Alexa App I get a OTP from alexa and it doesn’t work I get a message saying there is a problem with either the username password or OPT. I am sure the name and PW are correct because they allow me to log into Alexa so the issue has to be the OTP (I think).

I have even added Home Assistand Cloud and still can’t figure out hout to get to the Alexa devices. I’ve watched multiple YouTube Videos and have not been able to get HA Cloud to work either. The videos show me screens that I don’t see.

I AM CONNECTED to HA Cloud and am setup for multilevel log on in Alexa.

Can anybody help me with this

I have been at this for a week and am getting pretty frustrated

Thanks for any guidance you can give!!!

Based on the docs, you need to set up an authenticator app, not use SMS OTP from Amazon/Alexa:
