New automation exits to new default browser tab

I’ve set up multiple automations in teh past and still can from my phone, but whenever I try on my PC, I get to the automations screen where I can see all my existing ones, click the “+ Create Automation” in the bottom left, then select “create new automation” and it acts like I’ve clicked “back” in the browser, exiting to whatever I had in that tab before I went to http://homeassistant.local:8123 several clicks earlier. Get the same in Chrome and MS Edge. If I then click “forward” it gets to the intended page. Any ideas? I just updated home assistant and see the same.

Disable your browser plugins/addons.
It is most likely one of them.
I think a password manager current have this behavior, but I can’t remember which one.

Found the same issue caused by the NordPass extension. Managed by excluding HA url in the Disabled Autofill Websites
