New badges take more space to show less info

I’m unhappy about the new badges. I love Mushroom cards and do use Mushroom Chips for specific purposes but as an all-round replacement for old Badges that is FORCED upon all of us, they’re worse. Compare these two. Exact same setup.

Chips take more space while showing less info. I am aware they can be configured but the basic fact that most of the info is conveyed by icons too tiny to be glanceable, and that there is one less data point (the old shoved name and value, new doesn’t) make them less usable overall.

I wouldn’t mind if they broke the old badges out as an optional addon.

I Too hate the new badges due to the width of them. What would improve them is an option to disable the icon and then decrease the width.

For me, I would be happy just to be able to set a width, so the don’t jump around like a mad man.
