I’ve just purchased 2 Sonoff Wireless buttons (SNZB-01P). After pairing, both devices became unavailable. I’ve tried removing and re-pairing, discovering while still configured, reconfiguring, and nothing seems to change the situation. I can press the buttons and see the events for a few seconds, but then a device_offline event is emitted and the buttons stop working.
Both buttons think they’re paired (you can check by clicking the pairing button), and the devices are listed in HA, but something is wrong and I have no idea what I can do to resolve the issue. Can anyone help?
I managed to fix this. I think I found a similar thread somewhere else about the button going offline and, when they were talking about Zigbee 3.0, I wondered if perhaps my coordinator might be the cause of the problem. I updated the firmware on it (it was quite a vbit out of date), re-paired the buttons, and hey presto, they’re working wonderfully. Now I know when my kids have finished on the potty!
