Hi All,

Found this new integration for Eight Sleep with Custom Lovelace Card.

Has only been on GitHub for a few weeks and has not got much stars or commentary.

Would appreciate it if someone in the community could run an eye over it to ensure it is legit and not full of phishing/virus etc…

Interesting. Looks more comprehensive than the earlier one GitHub - lukas-clarke/eight_sleep: Home Assistant Eight Sleep integration that works with Eight Sleep’s new API and OAUTH2 from the readme; although it seems under less development than the Lukas Clarke one.

Actually, this ‘new’ one looks original forked from other one from around March 2025. It’s a not a true fork, but you can see it from the git history. There is then a bunch of code that was all generated in just two days… and when looking at the code, it really looks like it was AI generated. That’s not a problem per-se. But it’s not clear if it does anything different. And it doesn’t look like there has been any work on it, except for 2 days of playing around with an API engine. (Claude Code is my guess…). The summary docs aren’t bad even. Not sure what the goal of this repo was.
