About a week ago I stumbled on a Github repo that used ESPHome + Arduino to grab Bluetooth IRKs for use with “Private BLE Device” integration. I forked the repo and did a large amount vibe coding and ported it to the ESP-IDF framework, plus a ton of other under the hood changes. I tried to do extensive testing with Apple devices, plus the one Android that I had. I’d love to get feedback on how well this works for others.
