New HassIO Update Broke Lots of Stuff

I just updated to the latest HassIO build and the below items broke:

  1. AppDaemon (HADashboard) responds when I click the buttons but its like they arent connected to HA anymore. The log says Unauthorized when it attempts call_service. It can’t pick up my climate or Spotify from HA either. Was there an authorization config added in the latest update of AppDaemon or HA?
  2. My Node-Red is still working fine for my lights on motion/timer etc. However, I have an Aeotec Z-wave remote in there too that was working fine until this update. Now I get “login attempt or request with invalid authentication” popup on my main HA overview every time I press a button on the remote and it does nothing.
It seems like the latest update did something with authorization for HassIO addons and I can’t figure out how to fix it.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.

same, my node-red does is not able to connect to Home Assistant anymroe.

If you look at the release notes, you’ll see that Paulus started work on the new authentication system in 0.73 and fleshed it out more in 0.74. My experience with AppDaemon under 0.74 is the same as yours. I’m pretty sure something in those authentication changes broke AppDaemon, even if you’re using the legacy support. If I disable AppDaemon, all the unauthorized access messages go away.

In my opinion, neither 0.74 nor HassOS are ready for primetime and should not have been released out of beta.
