New install - adding integrations - Tesla PW and EV

I’ve just finished installing and setting up HAOS. I have managed to add third party integrations to HA for ones which came pre-packaged (eg LGThinq, XThings, Bosch HomeConnect). But when I try to add integration to my Tesla PW2, it asks for IP address of gateway and password. Despite numerous attempts the authentication fails (and I have been able to joing the TEG wifi AP on the gateway with those same credentials so I know they’re right).

So am I missing something? Given I’m new, I’ve read a couple of posts of the old Tesla integration and the new one (on git hub) but have no idea what they are, how they work and how to implement them.

I will likely have the same questions for my Tesla EV (but tha’s a different integration through tesla Fleet?).

My Tesla app doesn’t show/have the PW password in settings or anywhere else. Where am I missing it?

The sticker on the gateway has a password which is what I was trying. didn’t work.

Reading elsewhere (EVCC addon/app) I had to connect to it too, and it correctly pointed out that the actual password to use is the last 5 letters of the password on the gateway. That has now worked.
