I have the new device setup in MQTT just like I had the non-pro one. But I am not having much luck with the motion events. Has anyone found the magic I am missing for this one. So far I don’t find the options inside home assistant are working as good as the old non pro one.
Hopefully this is growing pains.
I have updated eMotion pro and it has new features, IR control, light sensor, distance and current state, those are exposed to HA by MQTT. you can take a look their online instruction to update firmware, eMotion Series | LinknLink Smart Home
So I set up the pro version too. I the way it presents via mqtt in HA is strange. Nothing indicates presence? I use the eMotion pro all_area but it seems to be motion detection only. If i dont move the lights turn off. ANy tips?
