AutoArm makes it easy to use Alarm Control Panel, and have the alarm panel state (ARMED_HOME,ARMED_AWAY,DISARMED,ARMED_VACATION) as a central place to control how other automations and notifications behave.
AutoArm has integration with Home Assistant Calendars to set recurring times to arm or disarm alarms, or book in vacations weeks in advance. It also has a simpler use of the sun integration to use sunrise or sunset to arm the alarm, and can use occupancy to automatically move to ARMED_AWAY if everyone’s left and DISARMED when someone’s back.
Other integrations are with Actionable Notifications for mobile apps, and physical buttons, so a cheap 433Mhz or Zigbee button by the front door can do the arming and disarming.
