Looking to buy a new (my first) Somfy outside cover, I need to decided/understand what would be the best integration with Home Assistant. Somfy has both Tahoma and Connexoon listed on their website, so I am somewhat confused…
Am I understanding this correctly, that Tahoma is comparable to Home Assistant itself, and that supports the Connexoon, which in its turn is the ‘official’ Somfy IoT solution? We have the Tahoma Integration which seems really complete.
Would there be some advantage to the Tahoma above the Connexoon (maybe support for other hardware Home Asisstant doesnt offer?), or would the current official Somfy Integration be the most reliable and future proof investment.
Also, I take it I need to buy the Connexoon to be able to do so in the first place?
