Hi everyone im new here and new to HA and solar so i have been looking for answers to i have uaed google, fb, You tube so been researching a lot.
So basicly im getting solar pannales and 5kw invert and 10kw battery insatlled from sunsync in few weeks, And as im with octopus sunsyc only works with octopus flux tariff and u have to manually expoet and due to work comitments its not possible.
Also my system will be out side the batteries and invter so having pi out side is bit of a hassle to to so i wouls like to know tge following

if i use the sunsync dongal would i be able to do import / export automatically to get the best for my tarrif with home assist using pi or my pc?

if i set it up on my computer at a later date could i then back up and transfer to my pi?

as i said im very very new so if this all works and im good to go would anyone be able to point me advise me on what addons in HA i would need.
