All was working well for 2+ years, now I needed to add some new Z-wave devices. Using Z-wave JS UI inclusion is successful and the devices can be controlled. Now to use them on my dashboards I need them to show via the Z-wave integration, however they don’t show. Yes I have read 2 days of posts and checked all configs everything looks as it should.
I am truly at a loss as my system has been solid for a very long time…wondering if a recent update had something to do with this. Any ideas very welcomed.
You do realize you included all your security keys in that, right? Not something I would post.
Also just making sure you restarted after adding devices. Something that is often overlooked when it isn’t working like you think it should.
I am behind an enterprise class firewall, and all of my home automation is on a VLAN away from everything else on my network, but even so, not my best idea to post security keys.
I have even tried fully removing the Z-wave integration, reboot, and reinstall the integration but to no avail. Same situation of valid and fully operational devices in Z-wave JS UI are not coming over to the integration…
For some reason adding devices via Z-wave JS UI is the culprit. For the devices to show up in the Z-wave integration I now ONLY have to add them via the integration inclusion…not the add-on.
Odd. Don’t both ZUI or HA work the same way and tell z-wave js to start the inclusion process and then the newly included device is published by z-wave js over the websocket for HA?
