When attempting to use Zwave
Keep seem to running into this error.
" Failed setup, will retry: Invalid server version: Z-Wave JS Server version (1.40.3) is incompatible. Update the Z-Wave JS Server to a version that supports at least api schema 44"
I am using add-ons. Using the default Zwave JS the error remained. There were no updates available in add-on store. However, I was able to connect to the ZWA2 antennae.
Decided to then use the ZWave UI add-on instead. Followed that install process and uninstalled the default Zwave JS add-on. ZWave UI is connected and talking to ZWA2 fine. The current version in Zwave JS UI is 11.8.2 and the Zwave JS is 15.17.1.
I’ve tried rebooting HA fully yet whenever Zwave starts the error pops. There are no errors in logs that I can find. There are no updates available to download from add-on store that are found. I checked the add-on store repository which appears connected.
Haven’t tired to connect anything else through Zwave yet because I wanted to get this error solved first.
Is it just a bug? Any help/advice would be appreciated!
If you want to switch to Z-Wave JS UI you need to uninstall the integration or re-configure the integration. Otherwise it keeps installing the core add-on.
You might need to try manually refreshing the add-on store to update the core-addon.
Hey yeah I did uninstall the integration & reconfigured it to the Z-Wave JSUI add-on. Yet whenever I re-install the integration the error immediately pops.
It appears whatever you did was not successful, because the integration is still connecting to the core-addon. You can verify the Server URL in the integration settings. You can try looking at this guide, maybe you missed something.
