AFter troubleshooting some other issues over the last couple of days, I decided to reboot HA. After reboot, there were a couple of HA updates waiting, so I updated them. Afterward, I got an update message saying “Newer version of Z-Wave Server needed.”
I am not a power user and I’m not sure what to do next, so hoping I can get a little help here.
I did notice that hoth HA updates looked like I had missed a few based on the version numbers, and I’m not sure why, because I am pretty good at checking for updates and installing them.
When I go to Settings==>Add Ons==>Z-Wave JS, there is no Update option. I’m a fairly basic user, so maybe I’m missing something. I see the add on has been turned off, and I have not tried to just turn it back on yet.
Are you sure you’re using Z-Wave JS core add-on, and not the Z-Wave JS UI community add-on? You wouldn’t get a version error if the add-on was not running.
From the add-ons page you can refresh the repositories (under the … menu I think). See if that changes anything. If not I’d start looking at Supervisor logs, maybe there are errors checking for versions.
