I just got two Trane HVAC systems installed (upstairs and downstairs) and it uses the UX360 thermostat. I already hate this thing but I’m locked into it because it’s a communicating VRF system.
I was able to get the system to show up in HA using the Nexia integration. It found the Upstairs and Downstairs thermostats, but only a “Zone 1” that seems to be associated with the Downstairs thermostat. I guess the Zone is where the climate controls are, and the thermostat is just sensors.
I don’t have a zoned system, so not sure how to get the Nexia integration to give me a Zone for upstairs too?
I am having two Trane systems installed this week, and they also require the UX360. I see the pull request Steve linked is closed, but it doesn’t look like it was ever solved.
Did either of you get these thermostats to play nice with Home Assistant?
The Home Assistant Nexia integration still does not support the UX360.
I’ve been using this one and it seems to work good and supports multiple thermostats.
It hasn’t updated in a while and it doesn’t look like he picked up the pull request for the native HA integration. Hopefully another developer can get it done.
Strange. This isn’t mentioned in either the 2025.09 Release Notes, nor is the UX360 listed as a supported thermostat on the Nexia Integration page. Here is a post by@bdraco where he states the UX360 won’t be listed as officially supported until someone owns the code maintenance. I would love to take this on, but I do not think my coding skills are good enough to commit to that
