I have a NFC tag that works perfetcly fine when companion app is running in the foreground or in the background. But as soon as I quit the app in the background it stops working. When I scan the NFC tag I can see the popup from companion saying “Processing tag” but the scan does not get triggered in HA. I use Android on a Galaxy S26. Anyone had similar problems or is this actually expected behaviour? I have battery saving off for the app.
