Hey all,
I recently installed a Nibe S1256 thermal pump and connected it via the integrated TCP/IP Modbus to the Nibe Heat Pump integration. By default, it shows the Climate System S1 and Hot Water entities. I can see the current temperature, but I can’t control the target temperature (e.g., I can’t change it).
When I try to change the mode from “Auto,” I get this error:
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Enabled some entities to test their impact. The sensors seem to provide correct information:
- number.language_40092: Changing this affects the language menu on the pump, so the connection seems to work.
- number.cooling_with_room_sensors_40171: Changing this (mentioned in the error) doesn’t help.
- switch.heating_auto_43060: Turning this off doesn’t resolve the issue.
- Adjusted entities like curve/offset, but the target temperature still doesn’t change.
- Disabled all entities except Climate System S1 and rebooted the pump (as suggested in other threads), but it had no effect.
I feel like I’m missing something obvious, as this seems like a core feature. I don’t have a room thermostat, but I can change the target temperature directly from the Nibe menu.
Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
